When he created his eponymous brand in 1935, Robert Bienaimé was already a perfumer recognized by his peers for his innate talent and undeniable expertise. A chemist by trade, he turned out to be one of the most gifted noses of his generation. When he died in 1960, the brand was mothballed for several decades before its rebirth in 2021, under the impetus of Cécilia Mergui.

Maison Aleph was founded by Myriam Sabet. She fell into the gourmet trap at an early age, and spent 10 years growing up in Aleppo, Syria, in the shade of citrus trees. She discovers the subtlety of the Damascus rose, the freshness of lemonades prepared by her mother to be enjoyed all year round, the subtlety of jasmine, the power of halva... Without knowing it, these flavors will be the keystone of the Maison Aleph project.
