Paris, 2021

When he created his eponymous brand in 1935, Robert Bienaimé was already a perfumer recognized by his peers for his innate talent and undeniable expertise. A chemist by trade, he turned out to be one of the most gifted noses of his generation. When he died in 1960, the brand was mothballed for several decades before its rebirth in 2021, under the impetus of Cécilia Mergui.

Commissioned by the latter to bring about this renaissance, we designed the new face of Bienaimé. Using the available archives, we recreated a bottle, a cap, and a range of boxes made to last and be reused. True objects of art and beauty, Bienaimé packaging is designed to be durable and environmentally friendly. Combining refined aesthetics with limited impact on the planet, they become objects that we want to keep, transform and pass on…

Today, alongside Cécilia, we continue to bring to life the splendor of the Maison Bienaimé by infusing it with a touch of modernity.
